NENMAR is an international architecture and interior design studio working on carefully considered residential, hospitality and retail environments. Founded and directed by Gianluca Nencini and Elena Maresca, the studio is known for a refined approach that integrates architecture, interiors and bespoke design into a single coherent vision.

At the core of the studio work is a simple belief - spaces should be designed around people. Each project starts by considering the experience a space should create how it will be inhabited, perceived and remembered. From there, architecture develops through a careful balance of space, materials and detail.

Our projects are characterised by quiet architectural language, an obsessive attention to proportion, atmosphere and a strong emphasis on craftsmanship. Rather than imposing a signature style, the studio approaches every project as a unique narrative shaped by its context, its client and its intended experience.
We work closely with an international network of artisans, makers and artists to deliver highly bespoke environments where architecture, interiors and custom elements are conceived as one.

NENMAR works on a range of carefully selected projects, from private residences and historic buildings to boutique hospitality and design-led fashion flagships, often within architecturally sensitive or culturally layered contexts.

Based in London, the studio holds professional presence and licences to operate in Italy and Switzerland and collaborates with a trusted local team in Brazil. This international structure allows NENMAR to work seamlessly across Europe, the Americas and other global locations while maintaining a direct and highly personal approach with each client. The studio is always open to projects worldwide.
